Millers Falls catalog describes this drill as follows:
Made of steel frame with stained hardwood head and handles.
Mushroom-shaped side handle is detachable. Rotating barrel
lock allows access to storage area in hollow head.
Spring-less, three-jaw chuck is adjustable from 0 to 3/16 inch.
Drive gear painted red. Bright parts are nickel plated.

Fully restored:
Frame cleaned and polished, drive
gear striped and re-painted. Wood on all handles cleaned.
Side and crank handle sanded, re-stained with red mahogany and
painted with 3 layers of lacquer. Main handle sanded and
re-stained with red mahogany and topped of with 3 layers of
lacquer. All gear tight and smooth. Super nice!
Works very well.

Chuck disassembled, cleaned inside
and out. All inside surfaces polished, including jaws –
for smooth operation. Greased, oiled, tuned and checked.
Great addition to your toolbox or collection.
