Frame made of
malleable iron. One pinion, with drive pinion supported
by ball thrust bearing at the end of the spindle. Three-jaw, spring-less chuck adjustable 0 to 3/16 inch.
Black enameled frame, drive gear painted
red; bright
parts nickel plated. Main handle made of Cocobolo
( Dalbergia retusa)
with a cap and hollow space for bits storage.
Crank handle in Cocobolo. Mushroom-shaped side
handle made of tropical hardwood, stained with mahogany.
Side handle is detachable. Screw-type adjustable
equalizer.

Fully restored: Cleaned,
striped, frame and main gear re-painted and baked. Wood on all
handles cleaned. Cocobolo sanded and waxed - 3 layers
of bees wax.
Final coat is Carnauba wax. Absolutely stunning
appearance! Hardwood of the side handle sanded
and stained with red mahogany. Top coat – 3 layers of
lacquer.
Greased, oiled, tuned, and checked. Superb tool!
